Problem

During this time of economic crisis when people are struggling to feed themselves, the upkeep of pets has become secondary. They are being cast out of homes and in need of a new place.

Limitations

There are limited spaces to keep the pets, so the website needs to be efficient and accessible to allow the pets to be rehomed quickly.

Wireframes

The information architecture of this website was placed in a matrix structure. Each page is accessible from any point in the journey through this website, whilst there is also a sequential journey from viewing a pet to adopting it.

As a web-responsive design, there are phone screen layouts also designed for this website.

Hi-fidelity Prototype

The use of Adobe XD to convert the design from sketched ideas to a real-life app interface. The colours were experimented with and chosen based on the accessibility. The transitions were thought about in terms of layering of app pages.
